WVRHA Membership Benefits include opportunities to:
- Attend educational workshops and seminars on rural health issues including audio conferences and webinars
- Receive discounted registration fees
- Network with others interested in rural health issues and contribute to the mission of the WVRHA
- Advocate for the unique concerns of rural residents and health providers at state and national levels
- Access links to state and national resources
- Receive a free subscription to the WVRHA's quarterly newsletter with information about the Association's activities, useful websites, grant announcements, legislative updates, etc. (hard copy or e-copy)
- Become a member of the National Rural Health Association at a discount which includes subscriptions to NRHA's Rural Roads, Action and Media Alerts and discounts to NRHA conferences
Membership Categories
Individual:
Any individual not holding membership in another category is eligible for this membership category. Each individual member shall have one vote in Association matters. Dues are $25 per year.
Organizational:
Any organization with three or more members is eligible for organizational membership. Each organizational member shall have three votes in Association matters. Dues are $150 per year.
Student:
Any individual enrolled in a training program who requests student membership shall be granted membership and shall have one vote in Association matters. Dues are $10 per year.
Honorary:
Memberships granted by the Board of Directors to further the purposes of the WVRHA. There are no voting rights or ability to hold office associated with this membership.
