WVRHA Conference Scholarship Application Form

November 13-15, 2024

The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, WV

We are pleased to offer an opportunity for community members and students to apply for scholarships to attend the WV Rural Health Conference. WVRHA intends to provide up to two scholarships for community members and up to 10 student scholarships which include: conference registration and a $500.00 travel stipend.  The travel stipend will be provided as a check to the scholarship recipient on Friday, November 15 at the conclusion of the final conference session.

Applicants must apply using the form below and should clearly articulate their interest and/or experience in rural health and attest that they would otherwise be unable to attend the conference without the scholarship support. Scholarship recipients must agree to attend all three conference days. Scholarship applicants who are awarded the conference scholarship are responsible for booking their own accommodations for the conference. Scholarship recipients who are awarded a scholarship, but do not attend the conference will not receive the travel stipend.

Students:

  • All student scholarship applicants must be actively enrolled in a college or university in West Virginia. Student scholarship applicants must upload documentation that shows proof of enrollment.

  • Students are expected to book their own accommodations and will be reimbursed for their lodging when they arrive at the conference.
