Do you have a vital stake in the provision of healthcare services in West Virginia?

Then Rural Health Workforce Day at the West Virginia State Capitol is a moment not to miss.

The West Virginia Rural Health Association encourages all individuals interested in rural health and the healthcare workforce to get involved in the legislative process by attending Rural Health Workforce Day at the Capitol in Charleston on Friday, Feb. 8.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • hear and interact with legislators, legislative experts and providers;
  • talk with legislators concerning the issues and policies vital to the rural health workforce;
  • increase your awareness of the role rural health and our healthcare workforce plays in our state policy; and
  • voice your opinions regarding West Virginias rural health workforce status.

The day also provides a unique opportunity to introduce yourself to legislators and network with other agencies and schools.

The day will include information about the West Virginia Health Data Portal, as well as displays by associations, health professions schools, and health care organizations. WVRHA Organizational Members can reserve a display table for free.
