Bonnie Dunn

WVRHA Involvement: As an Extension Agent for West Virginia University between 1963 and 2001, and an Extension Specialist/Family and Consumer Sciences at West Virginia State University since 2004, I have utilized the WVRHA resources, to support the need for programs and information to substantiate the need for funding on initiatives that your mission has identified. I was appointed and served on the WV Rural Health Education Partnership in the 1990s by Governor Gaston Caperton. At the same time, I served on the HSTA board of directors which worked side by side with WVRHEP at that time.
Experience: I am an educator at heart as well as professionally. My area of expertise has been primarily implementing community-based programs for diabetes education, healthy lifestyles through better nutrition practices and most recently a program for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren due to the opioid crisis.

Jeff Graham

WVRHA Involvement: I have been a member, board member, member of the executive committee, finance committee chair and treasurer of WVRHA for several years and developed WVRHA’s annual Silent Auction Fund Raiser. After leaving the WVRHA board after my third term expired, I was appointed by the WVRHA President, to complete the term of a board member who had to resign for personal reasons.
Experience: I am the Executive Director of the Beckley Health Right Clinic and past president of the WV Association of Free Clinics as well as serving on the WV Oral Coalition.

Teresa Hovatter

WVRHA Involvement: I am new to finding out about the association but thankful to become a part and would love to have the opportunity to follow my passion and improve the health of West Virginians by becoming a board member and active part of assisting the association of moving forward strongly in the association’s efforts.
Experience: Healthcare policy, legislative, governance, organizational development, system establishment and communications as well as many different areas and levels of health initiatives and efforts.

Brock Malcolm

WVRHA Involvement: I spent 11 years serving as Chief Operations Officer and In-House Legal Counsel for a large Federally Qualified Health Center. During that time, I attended various functions of the WVRHA, and I relied heavily on data supplied by the WVRHA for grants and other purposes.
Experience: I am a lawyer by trade, so my main areas of expertise are areas such as policy, legislative and governance. However, I have experience in all areas associated with managing healthcare centers. The area I have the least experience is finance.

Brianna Sheppard-Willis

WVRHA Involvement: WVRHA member since 2015. WVRHA Board Member in 2016-2017. I served on the Conference Planning Committee in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, as well as Chair and Co-Chair of the Poster subcommittee. I also serve on the WVRHA Policy Committee.
Experience: My interests are policy, research, conference planning.
