Board of Directors Nomination Form
Please consider running for the West Virginia Rural Health Association Board of Directors.
As of Dec. 31, 2018, we will have four vacancies on the WVRHA Board of Directors.
The current Board has 12 members with one of these members completing their terms Dec. 31, 2018.
In accordance with the WVRHA Bylaws, the Board must have at least nine members and no more than 15, so four positions will be available.
The association welcomes new Directors and encourages eligible members to entertain the possibility of running for the Jan. 1, 2019 – Dec. 31, 2021 term.
If you are interested in running for a seat on the Board, or want to nominate another individual, please consider the following points:
- Candidates must be a current member of the Association (either as an individual or as an appointed representative from an organization).
- The WVRHA Board is an active Board (two-year term) Members are expected to serve on committees, attend face to face meetings and participate on conference calls.
- Candidates must be committed to the mission and vision of the Association.
Nominations will open Oct. 18, 2018 and will close on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019 at 5 p.m.
