Board of Directors Nomination

Nominations for Board of Directors is Now Open

As of December 31, 2021, WVRHA will have five vacancies on our Board of Directors.  A total of two (2) one-year term seats are open for students studying at a West Virginia college or university.  Three (3) seats are available for regular terms.  The term for the regular Board seat is from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2024. 


The Association welcomes nominations, including self-nominations, for these seats.  Please consider the following information when nominating yourself or someone else.

  • Candidates for Board seats must be a member of WVRHA at the start of their term and remain a member in good standing throughout their term.
  • The WVRHA Board of Directors is an active Board with multiple working committees.  Each Board member is expected to serve on at least one committee during their term of service.
  • Candidates should have a commitment to the mission and vision of WVRHA.


Nominations will close at 4:00 pm on Friday, November 5, 2021.


Nomination does not guarantee a position on the Board of Directors. Board members must be elected by a vote of the membership. Once nominations are closed, all nominees will be placed on the WVRHA Election Ballot that will be distributed electronically to all members.
