The CDC/HRSA Advisory Committee on HIV, Viral Hepatitis, and STD Prevention and Treatment (CHAC) virtual meeting will take place via Zoom on the following dates:
The purpose of the CHAC is to advise the Secretary, HHS; the Director, CDC; and the Administrator, HRSA, regarding objectives, strategies, policies, and priorities for HIV, viral hepatitis, and other STDs. During the spring 2022 meeting, CHAC will discuss issues related to providing comprehensive STI services, leveraging policy to advance HIV, viral hepatitis and STI priorities, self-testing and sample collection and syndemic approaches to HIV, viral hepatitis and STI’s by focusing on people. Agenda items are subject to change as priorities dictate. This meeting is open to the public, limited only by audio and web conference lines (1,000 audio and web conference lines are available).
Time will be available for public comment. The public is welcome to submit written comments in advance of the meeting. Comments should be submitted in writing by April 25. People who want to make an oral statement, may request it at the time of the public comment period on April 27, 3:30 pm ET.
