June 6 – July 1: CAHPS^® Health Plan Survey Database Submission

CAHPS 5.0/5.0H and 5.1/5.1H Health Plan Survey users who administered the survey July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 may submit their data to the CAHPS Database between June 6 – July 1.

The CAHPS Health Plan Survey Database will be accepting the following 5.0, 5.0H, 5.1, and 5.1H survey versions:

• Adult Medicaid
• Child Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) without the Children with Chronic Conditions Item Set
• Child Medicaid or CHIP with the Children with Chronic Conditions Item Set

Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS^®) surveys ask consumers about their experiences with health care. The CAHPS program at the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) supports the development and promotion of CAHPS surveys, instructional materials, and databases, and provides technical assistance to users. AHRQ’s CAHPS Database receives data voluntarily submitted by users that have administered either the CAHPS Health Plan Survey, the CAHPS Home and Community Based-Services Survey, or the CAHPS Clinician & Group Survey.
