$31.4 Million in Funding Opportunities for Priority Behavioral Health Needs
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through SAMHSA, has announced notices of funding opportunities aimed at improving behavioral health for racial and ethnic minorities, and other underserved populations, providing training and technical assistance to programs serving these populations, and integrating primary and behavioral health care. The funding opportunities include investments in a range of behavioral health efforts:
- State Opioid Response/Tribal Opioid Response Technical Assistance – $18.5 million
- Minority AIDS Initiative: Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Prevention and Treatment Pilot Program – $5.7 million
- National Center of Excellence for Integrated Health Solutions – $2.7 million
- Minority AIDS Initiative: Integrated Behavioral Health and HIV Care for Unsheltered Populations Pilot Project – $2.6 million
- National Peer-Run Training and Technical Assistance Center for Addiction Recovery Support – $1.9 million
