BCHA to Hold Grand Opening Ceremony for new Myers Clinic

 

PHILIPPI, W.Va. – A grand opening ceremony for Barbour Community Health Association’s brand new Myers Clinic will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1 in Philippi.

 

The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. with opening remarks and a ribbon cutting. Lunch will be provided after the program as well as a tour of the new facility.

 

Attendees will also have the opportunity for free health screenings for weight, height, BMI, glucose, blood pressure, flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccines/boosters (for BCHA patients only).

 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to win door prizes and giveaways with prizes being a $100 Shop ‘n Save gift card, $100 Sheetz gift card, a family game night basket, 3 One-Year Barbour Wellness Center Family Membership Certificates, a cornhole set, a sled, and two kid’s bikes.

 

The Myers Clinic treats patients of all ages and provides a variety of family healthcare services, including pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health, and nutrition counseling.

 

The state-of-the-art healthcare clinic, located on the former Kines Motor Company property in Philippi, will continue offering existing services, as well as new new services, like radiology and Barbour Quick Care for area patients.

 

Myers Clinic will offer cost-effective services and care to patients with quicker turnaround time due to new in-house processing procedures and a connection to LabCorp which will improve patient laboratory services.

 

Most insurances are accepted, and a sliding fee scale will be available for uninsured individuals or families who need financial assistance through the organization’s Health Access Program.

 

Patients will be able to make appointments with their current providers, including Dr. Cecil Hobert, Dr. Pete Palko, Tessa Ricotilli, PA-C, and Taylor Chevalier, PA-C.
