POCUS Training

Healthcare professionals are invited to participate in an upcoming Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training designed to provide practical, hands on experience with the fundamentals of ultrasound use in clinical settings.

Because this is a hands-on training, registration is limited to 24 spots. Early registration is encouraged to secure a place.

Training Highlights

Participants will learn and practice foundational POCUS skills, including:

  • Fundamentals of point of care ultrasound
  • Basic ultrasound techniques
  • Image acquisition and optimization
  • Practical scanning skills
  • Clinical applications of POCUS
  • Using ultrasound to support patient assessment and clinical decision making


The hands on format provides participants with an opportunity to apply what they learn and develop practical skills that can be incorporated into patient care.

POCUS can be particularly valuable in rural and community healthcare settings, where access to advanced diagnostic resources may be limited and timely clinical assessment can be especially important.
