Theme:
“Celebrating the Power of Rural Health”
This contest seeks to showcase artwork
that focuses on the beauty, strength, and
resilience of rural communities and their
healthcare heroes.
All submissions must be accompanied by a
signed release form. Forms must be signed
by a parent or guardian if the student is
less than 18 years old.
Eligibility: Any West Virginia student in Pre-K through 5th grade
Art Format: Printable coloring page available at wvrha.org.
All coloring sheets must be completed by hand.
Materials: Crayons, colored pencils, or markers
Submission: High-resolution, full-color scanned image of the completed artwork emailed to info@wvrha.org or mailed* to:

Awards:
All submitted coloring sheets will be reviewed by an impartial panel of judges.
The following prizes** will be given for the winning submission:
First Prize – $250.00 gift card
Second Prize – $100.00 gift card
Third Prize – $50.00 gift card
Eligibility: Any West Virginia student in 6th through 12th grade
Acceptable mediums: All submissions should be 2-dimensional artwork. The following mediums will be accepted: drawing,
painting, watercolor, digital art, or mixed media.
Original Work: All entries must be original and created by the entrant.
Royalty-Free Content: Images must be royalty-free. By submitting, you grant permission for your artwork to be used in promotional materials related to Rural Health Day.
Caption: Provide a brief description (1-2 sentences) of your artwork and how it relates to the theme.
