New from the 988 Lifeline Team: Toolkit Updates, Mental Health Awareness Month

In preparation for Mental Health Awareness Month in May, the 988 Lifeline Team has uploaded many new shareables to our 988 Partner Toolkit. Please continue to use the resources in the 988 Partner Toolkit to help engage your communities.

New 988 Lifeline Social Media Shareables

For the month of May, the 988 Lifeline social media shareables focus on youth and adult suicide warning signs, how to be a lifeline, self-care practices, and the reasons and ways to reach out for help.

New Print Materials

Ahead of Mental Health Awareness month in May, two new posters and a yard sign will be available in the SAMHSA store. Available for download now are PDF files. We have included a printer version for partners to arrange large-scale printing with local printers.

The SAMHSA Store Update

The SAMHSA Store Team is working to fulfill orders as we’ve recently transitioned warehouse vendors. We appreciate your patience as the Government Publishing Office works to ship magnets, wallet cards, stickers, posters, and safety plans.
Thank you!

Upcoming 988 Partner Toolkit Plans

We are adding more materials to the 988 Partner Toolkit and communicating those updates through emails, webinars, and meetings. Our goal is to send out new materials available ahead of an “event” month, so watch for these upcoming event materials:

  • 988 Lifeline 1-year anniversary (July)
  • Suicide Prevention Awareness Month (September)
